The Problem of Apathy : My 2 cents
Apathy is something is something commonly used to describe the young Sgians. If you do not what tt word means, google is your fren.
What i fear for our country is tt the youth are getting detached from the real fiscal world we are in. There seems to be a clear separation between national/international events and our daily personal lives. It doesn't take a genius to recognise the flaws of this characteristic. It may be true tt it may not affect us now directly, but if we dun look out for our own future, who would? Enough molly-coddling already. I believe that we need to experience the tough knocks in life for us to become even stronger. As I always felt, if life was easy-going and all smooth-sailing, it wouldnt as be as exciting ya? If I have to go through my life without experiencing any ups-and-downs, i would prolly pull my own plug.
I think an ideal society is one whose even the most odinary members are able to make a significant difference to it. For it to happen, apathy must be eradicated. But i guess this would be too good to be true. Lets all just watch the house burn down while we are trapped in it
